Alissa Abba is the owner and creative force behind Brixxy & Co., a Philadelphia-based handmade pet bandana brand she has run full-time for the past four years.

After experiencing the devastating loss of both her mother and father, Alissa found comfort and renewed joy in becoming a dog mom to her mini poodle, Brixxy Bordeaux—the heart and inspiration behind the brand.

During the COVID-19 quarantine, Alissa—then working in education—used her unexpected downtime to sew a bandana for her own pup. What began as a creative outlet quickly caught the attention of her Instagram community, sparking the launch of Brixxy & Co. and ultimately leading her to step away from education to pursue her business full-time.

Alissa is known for her love of bright, bold prints and playful pattern-mixing that brings joy to everyday moments. From pop-culture icons like Dolly Parton and The Golden Girls to florals and a growing line of Eagles merchandise, Brixxy & Co. bandanas are instantly recognizable—and often sell out quickly.
