Alissa Abba is an educator specializing in working with students on the autism spectrum, as well as the owner and operator of Brixxy & Co, a handmade pet bandana company, located in Philadelphia.

After suffering two devastating losses, her mother and father, Alissa found new happiness and comfort becoming a dog mom to mini poodle Brixxy Bordeaux.

As an educator, she found herself with idle time during the nationwide covid restrictions and made her first doggy bandana for her own pup during the quarantine. Quickly gaining attention from her IG following, inspiring her shop.

Alissa has a passion for bright, bold prints and loves to mix together various patterns and designs, adding bursts of joy to every day. Blending pop icon prints from Dr. Fauci to The Golden Girls on one side, with everything from florals to shooting stars on the other, frequently selling out and restocking prints. Unlike other bandana companies, Brixxy & Co. bandanas are always reversible, handmade, and made to order, giving each customer the unique opportunity to create their own, one-of-a-kind design.
